PLAYING TO LEARN assignments

Pick two games you played before and write a review about each of them. Choose one professional and one student made game.

Make sure you include the following points in your reviews:

   * Name and purpose of the game: Pirates of the Preamble Purpose was to teach history and assemble the Preamble to the Constitution with correct answers
   * Describe it from a learner's point of view and a developer’s point of view: Learners - somewhat frustrating going back to the beginning with the same questions/Developer - need to add more questions and not redo correct answers so many times
   * Design Analysis (Does it look good? Does it clearly illustrate the scientific the concept?) Looks good/operates well
   * Usability Analysis (Is it clear what you need to do as a user? Does it work well?) Yes, it is simplistic in operation
   * Suggestions for improvement: When starting over after missing a question twice use new questions not simply redo the correct ones again
   * 2-3 things that you would like to learn how to do (in terms of functionality, design or content): 1) Characters mouth and facial gestures and 2) general map interactions
