The Green House

GAME PITCH

  • Audience Teenagers through adult
  • Game Play Players are given a prebuilt home and are ask to choose options to live in an environmentally friendly environment. Players gain or lose money through the choices they make in the game. At the end players are given the total of energy savings they have earned by living in the house.
  • Fun Factor Players are given the oppurtunity to click and learn in a graphically pleasing environment
  • Smart Factor Players gain knowledge of living a certain way to become more environmentally friendly
  • Style Factor Backgrounds will be digitally imported images. Other images will be imported or designed as needed.
  • Originality Factor The game is a green game, giving an inside view to living a green life

Game Scene 1: The Rooms

1. Describe this scene The player is viewing an open house with 5 rooms to choose from

2. Describe the action in this scene Players choose a room to enter and make "green" choices

3. List of Assets for this scene: (Note: You may not need all these asset types.)

  • Background-House with downloaded images of the different rooms the player can enter
  • Button(s)-Each room acts as a button that when pushed the player enters that room
  • Text-Text for each room-Kitchen, Bath, Laundry, TV, Bedroom

1. Describe this scene Players see a graphic image of the inside of a kitchen, upon entering a question will pop up for the player to answer

2. Describe the action in this scene Upon entering a question pops up players must base their answer on which choice is more "green", upon answering a correct prompt will appear, with some facts, or an incorrect prompt will appear with text explaining why they were wrong. Then the process will repeat its self for one more question. After this process is completed players will be redirected back to the open house marking out the kitchen as a selectable choice.
