Hey everybody,

Can someone please find me a good tutorial on using string functions and making them work, or making a mini one for me to use? I can't figure them out to save my life!!

I think what you are looking for is information on CONDITIONAL STATEMENTS, not string functions. String functions, as far as I know, would be ways of dealing with text strings. This link may help.
| Adobe Live Docs on AS2 Follow the ActionScript 2.0 Language Reference link and do a search on Conditional Statements. If that does not give you what you want, do a search on IF or Else. The documentation is very good about providing links to related topics, so even if you don't need to read abot IF statements, you may find a link to related items you were unaware of.
I spend a good deal of time here.
